- Ecological Movement of Patras OIKIPA is a Greek NGO that was founded in April of 1986 after the CHERNOBYL accident. Our objective is to inform, to sensitize, to mobilize people in environmental and quality of life matters. Our principles of function are Political independence, Member of OIKIPA is everyone who agrees with its statues and acts for its objectives, The organization is open and democratic. Members are equal and there is a rotation in duties. Main decision making body is the weekly meeting of members. Our activities include: Seminars, informative speech events, participation in European projects, legal interventions, symbolic activism, nature interest excursions. The Ecological Movement of Patras collaborates with other environmental groups in regional and national level and also, participates in the managing boards of two protected areas in Achaia region.

- The Public Vocational Training Institute of Agrinio - DIEK Agriniou is an institute that provides initial vocational training to adults (VET). It is a public school and belongs to the General Secretariat of Vocational Education and Training of the Ministry of Education of Greece. It is located in Western Greece and provides education in different specialties depending on the needs of the region or the needs of the country's economy. It has more than 400 trainees in 17 different specialties and employs about 90 part-time teachers, in evening operation. It provides a level 5 training certificate in accordance with the European Qualifications Framework and provides the opportunity to continue studies at University institutions after graduation.

One of the goals of the association is to give marginalized young adults access to lifelong learning and to provide job experience in order to help them obtain permanent, long-term employment. The city of Calarasi, where AESD is based, is one of the least developed regions of Romania.
